Wednesday afternoon bilingual workshops

These workshops are taught in the Montessori spirit, with a respect for the child and his or her needs, and offer the possibility to develop their autonomy, confidence and creativity. It is a convivial, relaxing time full of discoveries, allowing the child to simultaneously learn another language. These workshops are open to all children aged 3 - 12. Their are a wonderful way for Francophone children to learn English, and allow English children to gently familiarise themselves with French. Children of various cultures have the chance to help one another learn the others language.
The activities are lead by both an English and a french Montessori educator, who also keep the atmosphere of the workshop calm and enjoyable.
Children practise their English based on everyday dialogues, or via arts and craft work (pottery, painting, personal creations...). They are able to develop their vocabulary, and have an overall better understanding of the English language.
At the same time, various games (strategy, observation, board games, chess...) are offered in French, allowing children to better learn cooperation skills and enhance their ability to concentrate.

These workshops are offered every Wednesday of the school calendar year from 2 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. and begin the first Wednesday of September.

Fees: 150€/trimester
Documents required: a photocopy of proof of address, photocopy of proof of personal insurance, 3 checks for 150€ (cashed in the middle of the trimester), a medical form and inscription form (available at the school) must also be completed.
